DESCRIPTION:Cubbon Park\, is one of Bengaluru’s most cherished landmarks.
  First laid out in 1870 by Major General Richard Sankey\, it began as a 10
 0-acre green expanse and has since grown to nearly 300 acres.\n\nIn 1927\,
  to mark the Silver Jubilee of Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar’s rule\, the park
  was renamed Sri Chamarajendra Park. The name honors Sri Chamarajendra Wod
 eyar (1868–94)\, the 19th-century ruler under whose reign the park first
  came into being.\n\nWe will be drawing around the Statue of Sri Chamaraje
 ndra Wodeyar that stands in quiet tribute.\nHow to join this session\nYou
