SUMMARY:Penciljam Bengaluru at Bangalore Fort
DESCRIPTION:488 yr old Bangalore Fort\, whose roots stretch back to 1537 wh
 en Kempe Gowda I built a modest mud fort to anchor his budding township.\n
 \nOver the centuries it was refortified in stone by Hyder Ali and further 
 shaped by Tipu Sultan’s era\, before becoming a focal point in the Anglo
 -Mysore conflicts. Though much of it has vanished\, the surviving Delhi Ga
 te\, bastions\, and plaque marking the breach of 21 March 1791 still speak
  of siege\, resilience\, and layers of history.\n\nNow maintained by the A
 rchaeological Survey of India\, it stands in the heart of Old Bangalore as
  a historic\, protected monument and landmark. We are delighted to have re
 ceived permission from ASI to draw at this location.\nHow to join this ses
 sion\nYou don't need artistic skill to participate in this event - just bo
 undless curiosity and a love for drawing. To connect with other participan
 ts\, please use our community on Discord.\n\nRegistration is not needed to
  attend the event\, however if this is your first time please register her
 e\nRules at this protected monument\n\n 	No large easels\, drawing boards\
 , tripods\, chairs - these are not allowed within the Monument.\n 	No wet 
 media allowed within the pillared structure.\n 	If you use paints or inks\
 , be sure to not litter or spill. If by mistake you do\, please inform the
  community to help you address it.\n 	Be mindful to not block the walking 
 paths.\n 	Entry ticket can be bought at location\n 	Please carry valid ID
  cards\n\nThings to carry for this session\n\n 	A sketchbook/paper/drawing
  surface\n 	Pencils or any medium you would like to try out\n 	A portable 
 mat. If the location has no seating\, we tend to sit on the ground\, this
