DESCRIPTION:The Bhoganandishwara Temple\, is at the base of Nandi Hills\, i
 s one of Karnataka’s finest and oldest surviving examples of Dravidian t
 emple architecture. Believed to have been built in the 9th–10th centurie
 s by the Nolamba-Pallavas and later expanded by the Cholas\, Hoysalas\, an
 d Vijayanagara rulers\, it reflects over a millennium of South Indian temp
 le-building traditions. Dedicated to Lord Shiva\, its intricate carvings\,
  twin shrines\, and the graceful stepped tank tell a layered story of dyna
 sties\, devotion\, and enduring craftsmanship.\n\nNow maintained by the Ar
 chaeological Survey of India\, it stands in the heart of Old Bangalore as 
 a historic\, protected monument and landmark.\nHow to join this session\nY
