DESCRIPTION:One of Bengaluru’s older heritage buildings\, the foundation 
 of St. Mark’s Cathedral was laid in 1808 and the original structure comp
 leted by 1812 as a garrison church for the British East India Company. It'
 s design was inspired by the Baroque design of St. Paul’s Cathedral in L
 ondon\, and its prominent dome\, roman arches and stained glass have stood
  witness to more than two centuries of the city’s growth.\nIMPORTANT: Pl
