DESCRIPTION:Tholkappia Poonga\, also known as Adyar Eco Park\, is a 358-acr
 e ecological park in Chennai\, established in 2011 by the Government of Ta
 mil Nadu. Situated in the Adyar estuary\, the park aims to restore the reg
 ion's fragile wetland ecosystem. Named after the ancient Tamil scholar Tho
 lkappiar\, it features tropical dry evergreen forests with over 160 native
  plant species.\n\nThe park serves as a habitat for diverse fauna\, includ
 ing numerous bird species\, reptiles\, and amphibians. Operated by the Che
 nnai River Restoration Trust\, Tholkappia Poonga functions as an environme
 ntal education center\, offering guided tours and limited public access to
  promote conservation awareness\n\nYou don't need artistic skill to partic
 ipate in this event - just boundless curiosity and a love for drawing. To
