Founded in 1990 by visionary Odissi dancer Protima Gauri, Nrityagram stands as India’s first modern dance village—a Gurukula-inspired residential community where artists live, train, and create within an immersive, purpose-built campus. The Nrityagram Dance Ensemble, advances classical traditions through rigorous training, creative innovation, and acclaimed global performances.
This rare confluence of art, architecture, and community makes Nrityagram not only a sanctuary for the spirit of Indian classical dance but also a living testament to its continuing evolution.
You don’t need artistic skill to participate in this event – just boundless curiosity and a love for drawing. To connect with other participants, please use our community on Discord.
