Penciljams are community events and are completely free and open to all. There are no charges involved in attending weekend jams. Bring your friends and family too. All are welcome.

Yes. We pick a new venue to draw in each weekend. This ensures that you draw something entirely new each time. Our Jammers often bring family members along, so we try to pick spaces that are safe, where children can run around and where there are restrooms and eateries nearby. We tend to repeat venues that our members enjoy.

All you need to do is find out where we are drawing and turn up with your sketchbook. As simple as that! We post event details on this website, and also on our Discord server and on Instagram. Simply go through the event details and turn up for the jam.

It is highly recommended that you join our community platform on Discord. Sometimes the space we are drawing in is large, such as a park, and Discord makes it easy to find each other. Just message the other jammers in the group.

Yes! Jams are open to everyone, especially those who have an interest in Art but haven’t experienced it much. Many members of our community don’t have a formal background in Art, and those who do – share their knowledge. All you need to participate is an openness to new experiences, curiosity and a sketchbook.
