We are drawing at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is a landmark institution in Bengaluru’s cultural landscape, founded in 1960 by art visionaries including Prof. M. S. Nanjunda Rao to promote and preserve the visual arts. Over more than six decades it has grown into a vibrant art complex with dozens of galleries showcasing traditional Mysore paintings, folk art, modern and contemporary works, as well as collections by celebrated artists like Nicholas and Svetoslav Roerich.

After you arrive at the location, choose a spot you’d like to sketch and get comfortable.

Things to carry for this session

  • A sketchbook/paper/drawing surface
  • Pencils or any medium you would like to try out
  • A portable chair/mat. If the location has no seating, we tend to sit on the ground
  • Water bottle and snacks
