We will meet at Cubbon Park this Sunday, in front of the Statue of Edward VII. The statue is a wonderful subject to draw, showcasing the intricate details of the drapery that accompanies British royalty, meticulously and beautifully sculpted by Leonard Jennings.
You can locate this area opposite the Cubbon Metro Station, across from Kanteerava Stadium. Once you arrive at the location, choose a spot you’d like to sketch and get comfortable. To connect with other participants, please use our Discord community app.
Things to bring:
- A sketchbook/paper/digital surface of your choice
- Pencils or any other medium you would like to use
- A portable chair/mat. If there is no seating available, we usually sit on the ground
- Umbrella/raincoat, water, and snacks
