The National Military Memorial (NMM) in Bengaluru spans 7.5 acres and stands as a solemn tribute to India’s fallen soldiers. Initiated by former IAF pilot M.K. Chandrasekhar and his son Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the memorial was developed under the guidance of the Bengaluru Development Authority.

Designed by architects Mathew and Ghosh, it features angled granite plaques inscribed with the names of 22,000 martyrs and a towering 65-meter flagpole. A monumental 75-foot veeragallu is also being carved to honour warrior sacrifice.

The memorial includes military exhibits like a MiG 23 aircraft, Arjun tank, and INS Mysore model, alongside an underground gallery still under construction.
