We welcome the New Year at our favorite place – The National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru!
Manikyavelu Mansion, once home to businessman-turned-aristocrat Vilum Manickavelu Mudaliar, was acquired by the government at an auction. Restored and repurposed, it became the southern centre of the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) in 2009.
