Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall, built by the Chief Engineer of Mysore State, Richard Sankey. The hall was commissioned in memory of Sir Seshadri Iyer with support from then-Viceroy Lord Curzon. Completed by 1910 through public donations, it was converted into a library in 1915 after Sir M. Visvesvaraya gifted it to the State Public Library.
It houses the largest library in Karnataka, with over 3.1 million books, including every publication from the state, as well as braille and periodical collections.
