The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) in Bengaluru, inaugurated in 2009, is housed in the restored Manikyavelu Mansion on Palace Road. Spanning 3.5 acres, the gallery has showcased paintings by Raja Ravi Varma, Amrita Sher-Gil, Jamini Roy, and Rabindranath Tagore.

Its collection encompasses Indian miniatures, colonial-era art, the Bengal School, and post-independence modern and contemporary pieces. Facilities include an auditorium, art reference library, café, and museum shop, making it a vibrant cultural hub. NGMA is a perennial favorite among Jammers.
