The famous Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace is a stunning example of Indo-Islamic architecture and a significant historical site. Built in the late 18th century, the palace served as the summer retreat for Tipu Sultan, the ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore. This structure is renowned for its ornate wooden pillars, intricate carvings, and vibrant frescoes that depict various aspects of Tipu’s life and his battles against the British. If you enjoy filling your sketchbook with drawings of historical architecture, you will love this location.
