Ulsoor Dhobi Ghat, located in the heart of Bangalore, is an open-air laundry where generations of washermen have worked.
The ghat is an important part of the washermen community, showing the tradition and dedication of a profession that has continued in the busy city. Recent water problems in Bengaluru threatens some of these spaces. We will be around rows of clothes drying in the sun and the sound of scrubbing on stone wash pens.

Things to carry for this session:
– A sketchbook/paper/drawing surface
– Pencils or any medium you would like to try out
– A portable chair/mat. If the location has no seating, we tend to sit on the ground
– Water and snacks
